Know Your Balconies

Countries with rich history often have buildings hundreds of years old. Tourists lean out and often never lean back in.

Deaths by balcony and windows are not uncommon. United States standards for height of railings and secure windows on high floors are often non-existent in foreign countries.

Know your balcony!  Feel your belly button. If the railing isn’t protecting it – the ballast of the upper part of your body may pull you over. Don’t lean out.
